It also soothes a variety of skin irritations such as sunburn, dry eczema, allergic rashes, dermatitis, hives, nettle rash, chickenpox itching, insect bites and stings, heat rashes, and personal itching including genital discomfort. How to Use Lorix Plus Lotion General Instructions: Apply Lorix Plus Lotion to clean, cool, and dry skin. If you have recently taken a warm bath, let your skin cool before applying. Massage the lotion gently until fully absorbed. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes. Reapply after washing any treated areas within the 8-hour treatment period. After 8 to 12 hours, wash off the lotion thoroughly and change bed linens and clothes to prevent reinfestation. For Adults (including elderly): Apply evenly over the entire body from neck down, excluding face and scalp. Pay special attention to common scabies sites such as between fingers and toes, under nails, wrists, armpits, and genital areas. Use once daily for 3 to 5 days, preferably in the evening. In severe cases with pus, cover affected areas with a lotion-soaked dressing. Consider a second application after 7 days if symptoms persist. For Children Over 2 Years: Follow the adult procedure but ensure supervision during application. For Children Under 2 Years: Apply once daily over the entire body including face, neck, ears, and scalp, avoiding eyes and mouth. Use only once daily under strict medical supervision. For Infants (2 months and older): Safe with the above precautions and under medical guidance. Preventive Use: Since scabies is highly contagious, all household members should apply Lorix Plus Lotion in the same way to prevent reinfestation. Possible Side Effects Most side effects are mild and temporary, including burning, stinging, tingling sensations, redness, swelling, eczema, rash, or numbness. Itching may persist up to 4 weeks after treatment due to allergic reactions to dead mites, which does not mean the treatment has failed.
