This is my first year trying cucumbers. I’m really happy San Diego Seed Co has a bush-type variety to make it possible to try in my garden set up. Since I’m new to cukes, I thought I’d take advantage of the unseasonable warm spring in So Cal and get these in earlier than planned in case I had any problems. I had 75% germination within 5 days and 100% germination within a week. The seedlings are growing well and making it hard for me to choose which ones to thin out since they all look so healthy. I’m encouraged enough to plan a succession planting in a couple weeks to keep the party going. This year is an experiment in growing these cucumbers, so I’m looking forward to learning and thankful that SD Seed Company has dependable varieties for our So Cal climate.
